I am working on an all accoustic CD fusion of North indian Classical
music on Sitar, sarod, vocal and Irish folk music (fiddle, harp,
vocal). Its slow, relaxing music which could also suit meditation.
Withouth using synthesizer or whale noizes and all that phoney new age
stuff, I would like to include sounds or frequencies which have been
proven to help people relax. Has any scientific research been done on
this outside of the New Age circle? I am looking for a web site or two
or book or two which can give me a few ideas on what sounds I could
include on the CD.
