Control is tight and the power is entrenched and exercised by a few
individuals at my Homeowners Association Board.

My candidacy for a Board seat was received with apprehension at the
Board and I?ve got a feeling the powers that be had already begun
machinating my defeat.

I need to know how I can wage a successful proxy fight at the upcoming
Board of Director?s Meeting. I need to know the potential for
pit-falls as well as any available recourse that I might take to
successfully install myself in the Board.

I?m located in Texas, if this helps?

Take a close look at the Bylaws and follow them to the letter. Also,
if the Board does NOT follow them to the letter, you can dispute what
they do. Getting proxies ahead of time is often effective.
