Need a list of marketing agencies who specialize in direct marketing
for their clients.  Need President or VP of Marketing for those
companies as well as addresses and phone numbers.  Must be agencies
that are heavy into direct marketing and who live and die by back-end
reporting.  I have a product that will revolutionize this industry.

I'm not 100% clear about the types of agencies you're looking for, as
there are many variations of direct-marketing services.


However, DMA does make some very useful information available, even to
non-subscribers.


Head to this link:

and take a look at the "Business Categories" part of the search form.


You can select a number of agency-related listings, such as
"Advertising & Direct Response Agencies", "Sales Promotion Agencies",
etc.

You can also select your geographical preferences (if any) towards the
bottom of the page.

Then...simply hit search, and you'll get a list of several hundred
organizations.  Click on the name of a company of interest, and you'll
pull up a record that looks like this:

Thank you for your comments and link to the DMA web site.   To clarify
my question - there are marketing firms, ad agencies and other
companies that specialize in direct marketing.  I have been told that
they live and die by the numbers - that is it is important to them to
know how many people have actually viewed and/or responded to a direct
mail campaign.  At this point, the best anyone can do for one given
campaign is what happened to a direct mail piece in a given zip code.

I have a method to determine how each household responded to the
campaign.  I am looking to send my idea to these direct marketers.  I
am trying to get a laser focus on a target market and I only have a
very small budget to do this.  Therefore, I need to know the contact
information for persons who specialize in crunching the numbers of
direct marketing campaigns.

I hope this helps you to help me.  I truly appreciate your responses
to date and I have looked at the DMA site.  While helpful it is very
cumbersome to have to go through each and every one of the names - I
am looking for a list (if at all possible) - even if I have to
purchase it.

The obvious but costly answer is to become a member of the DMA and it
is then available online at www.the-dma.org.  This is the most
comprehensive list of direct marketing agencies available.

Thank you.  However, it cost $2,400 to join the DMA - to costly for my
now small business.  I appreciate your answer very much.
