Is there a way to view questions according to when they were last updated?
I often see questions that interest me but have no answer yet. Every
time I come to Google Answers, I have to scroll and scroll to find the
interesting questions and see if anyone has posted a comment or
answer.
I would love to have all the questions listed in order of their last
update date and time. Is this possible? |

The link below should show you questions in "update" order (in blocks
of 100). "Update" includes a Google Answers Researcher answering,
locking or unlocking the question, the posting of a request for
clarification by either the customer or a Google Answers Researcher,
the posting of a comment, or a deletion by the Google Answers Editors.
http://www.answers.google.com/answers/search?q=-&qtype=all&num=100
Same thing, but shows only the answered questions:
http://www.answers.google.com/answers/search?num=100&q=-&qtype=answered
Only the unanswered questions:
http://www.answers.google.com/answers/search?num=100&q=-&qtype=unanswered
Unfortunately, the links above will not take you all the way back into
the archives. I know of no way to do that. However, you can browse
through the 1000 most recently modified questions in this way.
If this is satisfactory as an answer, please let me know.

Your description of the first link sounded promising. However, when I
clicked it, I was puzzled by what I saw...
(1) The heading said that results were sorted "by relevance". What
does that mean? (Relevant to what?)
(2) The values under the Date column were not in order. (What is this
column? Is it the Update date? Of the date the question was originally
added?)
(3) I searched the list for my name ("rambler"), but did not find it.
I expected to see my question listed because of your recent request
for clarification.
Like I said, your description of the first link sounded exactly what I
was looking for, but the actual functioning of that link was
disappointing and confusing. (I did not check the other two links
because they don't interest me.)

I have no idea why these links don't work for you. As an experiment, I
just locked this question, then used the first link above and
refreshed it a couple of times. After a few seconds' delay (presumably
as the site updates itself), this question appeared at the very top of
the list. It will sink again quite rapidly, of course, since GA is
rather busy at this time on a weekday.
I hope another Researcher will be able to help. I don't know of any
other way to do this.
