When burning Music MP3s on DVD using Nero 6 and Music Match I am
encountering a problem listing to the DVD on any DVD player besides
the computer DVD. I have Burned DVDs on both DVD-R and DVD+R format.
I have also tried playing them on several differant DVD Players with
no luck. How can I burn MP3s on DVD so it will play on a non computer
DVD player?

There is no hardware solution availiable today aside from the laptop /
pc approach - unfortunatly. Maybe in the next few years some devices
will be released that will read mp3's directly from dvd, but at this
point it is only your full blown operating system. There are devices
that advertise DVD/MP3 capabilities, but I beileve that these only
offer the ability to read mp3's from cd's - not dvd's.

Papayrus is wrong. I myself listen to mp3's directly from dvd using a
dvd player. With Nero 6 there should be a nero startsmart shortcut in
the start menu. Open that, select dvd, go into the audio section and
click "make MP3 DVD". If you cannot see the "make MP3 DVD" option you
may need to upgrade your Nero to Nero 6 ultra edition or Nero 6
reloaded.

there are several dvd players that will read and play mp3's off of a
dvd. unfortunately the inexpensive one do not have a nice randomizer
which leads to somewhat of linear listening.
first hand experience tells me that Philips DVP642 can play mp3's from DVD
(it also plays just about anything else you put on it)
also check http://www.videohelp.com/dvdplayers
do a search for dvd-mp3 and you should come up with some players
read all user comments before settling down on any one
i would personally stick with the DVP642, however it doesnt randomize (shuffle)
hope this helps for those who are searching long and hard as i once did
