prpro,

I am a big fan of IEImage, and I just switched to Firefox last week.
I found your Firefox extention "LINKY", downloaded it, and it's
GREAT!! It's even better than IEImage because it does more stuff!

Here's a screenshot of the Linky Menu:
http://www.actsofvolition.com/images/linky.png

You're going to love it! You can get it here:

Download Linky
http://gemal.dk/mozilla/linky.html
..."Linky will increase your power to handle links. It will let you
open or download all or selected links, image links and even web
addresses found in the text in separate or different tabs or windows.
You will just need to right click any link or web address, select the
Linky menu item and choose the desired action. You can even specify
what option you want to see available in the Linky menu through its
preferences..."

Note the instructions in the download box. I had to save it to the
desktop then open Firefox, go to FILE - OPEN FILE. Then a box comes
up saying Linky would install the next time I opened Firefox. So I
closed and reopened. Voila!

Here's a six page article about Firefox extensions, well, the
Extensions start on page two...

A Guide To Firefox Extensions
http://www.flexbeta.net/main/articles.php?action=show&id=79&perpage=1&pagenum=1
..."These extensions can consist of just about anything that you can
think a web browser should do. There are extensions available to add
search bars to the browser, as well as small extensions that simply
add a single setting to FireFox. There are even extensions that will
transform FireFox into a completely different application, such as the
Mozilla Calendar.

This article will cover some of the popular Firefox extensions that
many people simply can't browse without..."

SUPERB solution for what I needed -- you're right, this is even better
than what I originally used on Internet Explorer. Great work,
Cynthia!!
