According to a recent new item in "The Physiologist", the FY2005
budget for PubMed Central is about US$2.5M.  (see
<http://www.the-aps.org/publications/tphys/2004html/OctTphys/paffair.htm#publishers>)

The total FY2005 appropriation for the National Library of Medicine
was US$317,947,000.  (see
