What do the letters RCU stand for? Is linn the manufacture? In the USA Hi-Fi is a term rarely used after about 1958. Almost any kind of details may be helpful. Neil |

Hi there - RCU stands for Room Control Unit - this is a control panel that fits into the wall to allow you to control your (Linn) Hi-fi system from the panel and hide away your equipment. To program the RCU you connect it to your PC - the cable pinout I'm after connects from the RCU to the PC. Yes Linn is the manufacturer. Thanks. |

There are links to owners' manuals for RCUs at http://www.linn.co.uk/spec_sound/product_display.cfm?ProductID=36&activeNavBar=products&activeSubNavBar=knekt&CFID=1952497&CFTOKEN=60513066 The correct manual may depend on whether you have KNEKT or BASIK. There doesn't appear to be a cable diagram in the sample manual I downloaded. Contact information for Linn is at http://www.linn.co.uk/cust_supp/cust_supp.cfm Owain |

Hi there - thanks for the comment, but this is my problem. I want the diagram so that I can program a second hand RCU that I bought. Linn pointed me to their dealer network, and they want to program for me, not let me do it. |
