I am organizing a panel discussion in Los Angeles, CA in mid-February. The topic will be about violence perpetuated against people of color (particularly LGBT people) in the United States and the Caribbean, and I am looking for specific contact information for at least TEN community organizers and activists in the Los Angeles area, who are experts in this field. Preferred that they are leaders of community organizations and have an expressed interest in this field. Feel free to interpret the term "violence" as you would like. This is time sensitive, as I need to start putting the speaking panel together this next week. I am NOT looking for city council members, mayors, congressmen, etc. |
