A soil has the following analyses: CEC = 14 meq/100g pH 5.5 exchangeable Ca = 5 meq/100g Mg saturation = 5% K saturation = 2% Acid saturation = 57% A soil lab recommended that the Ca, Mg, and K saturation be increased to 75%, 12%, and 8%, respectively. a. Calculate the lbs/afs CaCO3, MgSO4?7H2O, and KCl required. b. Calculate the initial and final BS%. |
