comprises the definite article and a word of seven letters, five of

Well done nemtudom! I know this doesn't exactly fit the question but
the quizmaster has made mistakes before, and I'm confident this is the
answer he's looking for.  If you'd like to post this in the Answer

Beats me! If you'd said 8 letters, 6 of which are the letter a, I'd
guess you were talking about "The Cataaaaa" by A. E. van Vogt.

I'm not a Google Researcher, just a guy off the street; so I can't
