Hi guys! The leading angel group in New York is, as vjraj mentioned,
is New York Angels (at www.newyorkangels.com). They welcome
submissions of plans at any time through their website, and screen
them for possible presentation at their monthly meeting. Note,
however, that angel funding, like VC funding, is very rarified. Fewer
than one in ten plans even make it to the due diligence stage, let
alone get funded (although NYA did fund eight companies with about $4
million last year; mostly Internet-based companies, apachemd.)
