Dear dvp543-ga; Thank you for allowing me to answer your interesting question. The information supplied by the commenter below shows the APPLICATION for a Japanese Divorce by Mutual Consent, commonly called ?the green form? (?kyougirkon todoke?) because of the green band that appears at the top (though you may not actually see it in the examples he/she directed you to. The Japanese Divorce by Mutual Consent is called a ?kyogi rikon?. The actual DECREE of the dissolution of marriage, legally rendering the divorce final looks like this: KYOGI RIKON http://www.h3.dion.ne.jp/~barwoody/rikon_kyogi.gif Typically the application is filled out by hand (as seen in the commenter?s example) but the decree is typed. Notice the personal stamps (hanko) of the two spouses at the bottom left of the actual Decree that take the place of handwritten signatures on the application. I hope you find that my research exceeds your expectations. If you have any questions about my research please post a clarification request prior to rating the answer. Otherwise I welcome your rating and your final comments and I look forward to working with you again in the near future. Thank you for bringing your question to us. Best regards; Tutuzdad-ga ?
