Dear ali7a-ga;
Thank you for allowing me to answer your interesting question. It?s
possible that the chairs may be a bit older Art Deco than you first
thought, but it would take an expert to be able to attest to it for
certain. In fact, the chairs have been around for the better part of a
hundred years.
W. Lusty & Sons Ltd of London bought the manufacturing rights to Lloyd
Loom furniture in way back in 1922, thus the name ?Lusty?s Lloyd Loom?
on the tag you mentioned. As with most antiques, the fact that they
are in good shape and with the tag still intact may enhance their
value considerably from what it might have otherwise been.

The lilac colored chair shown in this watercolor (may or may not be
yours) was painted in 1934 for the Lloyd Manufacturing Company
catalog. This is not meant to identify your chair specifically but
serves merely to show that the lilac fabric colors, paints and black
metal legs have indeed been used by Lloyd for decades and predate the
1960?s quite a bit. As I said, yours could very well be older than the
1960?s, but probably not extraordinarily valuable.

While your chairs are probably not going to result in a money pit by
any stretch of the imagination, you should contact them directly in
order to get an informal but accurate assessment of your chairs. I
can?t imagine a more knowledgeable source for this information than
the manufacturer itself.
