I want to find out detail number of desktops or workstations used by
each of fortune 1000 and global 1000? Can anyone help me out?

I doubt it's worth only $8 to you to find out, and since you're asking
about between 1000 and 2000 companies, that works out to .8 cents per
company before GA takes its share from the researcher.

While you might be able to obtain an employee count for many
companies, and maybe assume that the desktop/workstation count is
roughly one-to-one, there probably isn't any real detailed information
on specific PC counts for any company, as that information is
proprietary.

Your results may vary, but the asking price is very low for the amount
of work required.
