How many all-purpose/general household stores are there in the US? Specifically, how many chain stores are there (for example Target, Wal-Mart, Walgreens, CVS, Duane Reade, Eckerd, etc.) total, plus how many smaller chains/mom & pop stores that are basic household stores are there? |

This question, and your other questions asking for statistics about stores, may not be answered at the price you've set.
