Hello,

I recently bought a Emachines M5405 laptop computer. For whatever
reason I have to replace the DVD/CD-RW drive. Emachines cant help me
they dont sell parts seperately. I am lokking for someone to tell me
if and how I can find a replacement drive? How can I know which
internal drive will be good for my computer? If you need more info
about my computer please post.

You can use any Ibm compatable drive. That means unless it is built
for a mac you can use it. There are so many popular brans out there
that will give you a huge amount of choices. It all depends on what
exactly you are looking for. You can head on over to cnet.com and
check there price comparison shop or you can check out newegg.com oe
even tigerdirect.com which is a good company. If you are looking for
some cheaper brands lite-on is always good i purchased a dvd recorder
+/- a while back for around $100.00

Its that easy....they will all fit my laptop?? No different sizes or anything???
