What is the average IT budget for manufacturing companies with fewer
than 1000 employees.

I'm pretty familiar with research done on manufacturing companies and
IT spending.  As you might expect, the data is generally expressed in
terms of percentage of revenues (rather than an absolute $$ amount),
as companies with fewer than 1,000 employees have a WIDE range of
sales.

Please let know researchers know if the data is acceptable in this way.

Yes, It can be expressed a a percentage of revenue or percentage of sales.

Presently our compnay has about 250 million in sales per year.
