I Tivo'd some of the Ben Stiller shows and there was a skit in one of
them that parodied the Monkees tv show. There was a girl band in the
skit and the lead singer, "Goo" looks just like Nicole Kidman. Is it
possible that it was her? Thank you. Mary Jane Torpin

Hi mjmfsci,

Although she does resemble Nicole Kidman, the actress you are thinking
of is actually Jeanne Tripplehorn.

The Ben Stiller Show (1992)
Two Disc Set
"#107: Rob Marrow joins the cast for one episode, mostly to chide
Stiller about losing out on Northern Exposure's lead role, which, as
everyone knows, went to Rob. Dana Gould (producer of the Simpsons)
shows up for a very funny oatmeal commercial spoofing a disgruntled Ed
Brimley. And one of the best sketches of the whole series, though
quite dated, is "The Grungies," a Monkees-type kiddy show that
revolves around a Pearl Jam-like grunge band..."
