nosidrah-ga,
Thanks for getting back to me so quickly.
Here is the message I received from the NASDAQ-100 folks:
Regarding your voicemail, we don't have a readily available source
that would provide you with the stock components of the Nasdaq 100
going back historically... we could pull the data for you, but I would
have to charge you $100/hour for the work and probably couldn't get
this to you till next week sometime. It would probably be about 2
hours worth of work, so that would cost you $200. Let me know what
you'd like to do.

I would suggest contacting Ms. Reilly directly or sending her a note
along these lines:
-----
A colleague of mine has been assisting me in my search for historical
information about the NASDAQ 100, and I understand you are the contact
person for this.
I would like to obtain the list of component stocks for the NASDAQ 100
-- company names and symbols -- for each year since its inception in
1985.
I understand that there is a charge for compiling this list of
$100/hr, and that it will likely take two hours of time to put
together the information. This is fine, and I authorize an expense of
up to $XXX for this effort. If the cost is likely to be more than
this amount, please contact me first.
-----
If you communicate with Ms. Reilly via email, you may want to
follow-up with a phone call after a day or two to make sure it's in
progress.
Best of luck with your ventures. Before rating this answer, please
let me know if you need any additional information. Just post a
Request for Clarification, and I'll be happy to assist you further.
