Question ID: 45532
I'm looking for statistics on the largest online banking companies
(including traditional bricks and mortar banks)

More specifically I'm looking for data (no earlier than 4Q 2001) on
the top 10 banks by number of accounts and online penetration rates.

For example Wells Fargo has 3 million online banking customers
representing 30% of their customer base.

Please ask questions if I'm not being specific enough. Thanks.

Dear Wizard,
Would you liek a chart or would you be satisfied with referrence to a
publication (that costs money by itself) that has the data?

politicalguru-ga,
Not sure what you mean? Are you suggesting that you can provide a
chart with the numbers I am looking for...or that I need to pay more
money for a publication that contains these statistics? If it is the
former then I may be interested provided that you can specify exactly
what it is the chart contains. I am not interested in paying more
money for a research report

You may find information related to your question at the Gomez site:

http://www.gomez.com/benchmarks/scorecard.asp

Note that Gomez ranks based upon a number of subjective criteria.
Their business, as I understand it, involves doing those rankings and
selling the comparison results back to the banks.

Hope this helps!
