I'm looking for online retail apparel sales and web traffic
statistics. In a perfect world I would have the imdb of online
retailers and suppliers with budgets and revenues. I want to see where
web traffic is going, where the money is going, in from customers and
out as expenditures, advertising, promotion and what have you. But,
I'm pretty sure this website doesn't exist, there's no team of people
out there hacking into all the independently owned magazine and
clothing label databases to find out their sales numbers and web
stats, so, what's the closest I can get? Are the sources of this kind
of aggregate and interrelated data expensive research firms like
Forrester and only available for a hefty price? I want numbers, with
public companies I can go to yahoo finance and look at their charts,
but I'd like to see info on companies not publicly traded. Online
Retail Apparel Sales and Traffic Statistics is what I'm looking for,
related industry juice like magazines and events would be cool too.
