I'm currently using MS XP, and am trying to use the Speech Recognition feather . But it doesn't seem to work. In Word, after I opened a new document and clicked Tool/Speech, sometimes nothing happened, and sometimes a window pop up promping me to give it a training. I then clicked next, but nothing happened again. I also tried to do a profile training using the tool box on the Language Bar, but again, i got no response. I already added the speech recognition feature at control panal/add and remove program/MS office/change/office shared features/speech and my microphone was also turned out. Please help me out of this technological bind. All I want is to get the speech recognition function properly. Thanks! Please |

Have you tried rebooting since installing the speech recognition feature? |

Yes. I did. How does the speech recognition usually work ? I'm thinking if i can get the training up and running, the speech function will then work... |
