Hello, blues123-ga,
I think I found the information you are looking for. The
International Association of Conference Centers of North America has a
website that lists all the hotel/training/conference facilities in
North America that are part of their organization. To access all the
hotel/training centers in the United States, go the home page at:
http://www.iaccnorthamerica.org/directory/index.cfm?fuseaction=MemView&ID=6838&CFID=262939&CFTOKEN=44340787
On that page, you will see an example of one of their member
facilities a lengthy list of all the Harrison Conference Centers,
which are a division of Hilton Hotel Corporation.
On the left-hand side of the page, under Directories, you can click
on Properties/Venues, which will bring you to a page where you can
submit your criteria by state, etc The link is
http://www.iaccnorthamerica.org/directory/index.cfm?fuseaction=MemFind
. Rather than submit criteria, you can merely click on the tab for
Search IACC Members at the bottom, and it will bring you a long list
of all the conference/hotel/training centers in their directory. From
there, you can click on each of the venues for additional information,
and often on a further link to find out about the accomodations.
Now, for the companies which own or manage these venues, you can
also go to the initial page link
athttp://www.iaccnorthamerica.org/directory/index.cfm?fuseaction=MemView&ID=6838&CFID=262939&CFTOKEN=44340787
and click on Management Companies under Directory. It will bring you
to a page of management companies that either own and/or operate at
least one member conference center. Such firms may also provide an
array of other services--feasibility analysis, development,
consultation, purchasing, technical services, and/or marketing
services. The following link will take you to that page:
http://www.iaccnorthamerica.org/directory/index.cfm?fuseaction=ManageFind.
If you are interested in other IACC chapters around the world, you
can click on your country of choice on the upper right-hand side of
the home page, under IACC Chapters, and then follow the same process
as above to find venues and owner/management companies.
I hope this is what you are looking for. I realize there are
probably individual hotel/conference centers located around the
country that are owned or managed independently, but I imagine it
would involve a long and lengthy, state-by-state search.
If I can provide any more information that I didnt forsee in your
question, please ask for clarification. I will be more than happy to
help.
Cheers!
