Hi Theretreat69
The P Trevillion you are looking for is Paul Trevillion, an acclaimed
sports illustrator. You have his name correct, and he is British. He
is perhaps best known in Britain for his work on the popular football
comic book Roy of the Rovers in the 1960s. You can see a bio and a
photo of Paul here:
http://www.royoftherovers.com/behindthescenes/artists.htm
It says: "Paul Trevillion has been acclaimed as the finest sports
artist Europe has ever produced."
He has illustrated many sports books, most notably on the subjects of
football and golf. You can see a list of them via a search of his name
at www.amazon.co.uk.
He also designed a new putting technique and wrote a book about it!
(The Perfect Putting Method, Pelham Books, 1971, out of print on
amazon but currently available on eBay UK). He also invented the "sock
tag" a short-lived football fashion item! Paul has since worked in the
US, illustrating books on American Football and Wrestling.
As for football cards, yes, there are several UK dealers specialising
in such cards. The best place to start is eBay UK (www.ebay.co.uk).
Browse to All Categories > Sports > Football Memorabilia > Trading
Cards & Stickers. I found almost 5,000 items there! You'll find that
several dealers have set up "eBay shops" there, too:

Also try Cigarrete Cards and Trade Cards, which seems to be the best
online UK dealer:

Finally, Nigel's Webspace has a great gallery of 1960s football cards:

Hope this satisfies your curiosity!
