Hi flo44,

You can buy replacement keys, or stickers to place ontop of keys,
but you may find a new keyboard on sale for less! Many, many years
ago, when my very first keyboard began to have the same problem, I
used a permanent marker to write the letters on the keys. Once dried,
it lasted several more months till the keyboard just didn't work well
any longer, and I boought a new one, with some "bounce" to the keys,
which I liked! Since then I believe I have gone through 8-9 keyboards!

Once marking the keys, consider one of these protective keyboard covers:

You can buy key stickers here:

This company may be able to sell you just the keys you need:

Super helpful..I'll give it a whirl in a day or two, and in the
meantime, I'll try to write on the keys..thanks so much..I'll let you
know later who had the keys for sure, and what the cost was.

Thanks a big bunch

Just a wee addition to ?crabcakes?, if she / he doesn?t mind.

In days of yore when keyboards were expensive and rare, the standard
recourse was to scratch new alphanumerics into the keys then fill with
paint. And a bit of a rub-down to smooth the surface.

Sometimes same on car switches or electronic equipment restoration too.

Not only were they expensive - they were GOOD! Most of the keyboards
around now are really poor quality.

Apart from much better action, their labels didn't wear off because
they were usually engraved, rather than just printed.
