Dear blues,
Do you require a link to the actual documents (which may not be

Blues123,

A pretty comprehensive search only turned up one case re:Sunlite, and
that was a worker's compensation case, not a bankruptcy:

Lawrence v. Sunlite Casual Furniture, Inc., No. CA98-1063, COURT OF
APPEALS OF ARKANSAS, DIVISION FOUR, April 14, 1999, Opinion
Delivered, NOT DESIGNATED FOR PUBLICATION. PLEASE REFER TO THE
ARKANSAS RULES OF COURT.

Are you sure Sunlite filed under its business name, or could it be the
filing was for an individual name, or under another business identity?

Please explain why you want the bankruptcy documents--are you a
secured creditor or an unsecured creditor who is still owed payment?

Here is an address and phone number you may be interested in:
OFFICE OF THE CLERK (501) 918-5500
     US BANKRUPTCY COURTHOUSE
     300 W. 2ND ST.
     P. O. BOX 3777
     LITTLE ROCK, AR 72203-3777

If you called the number, the clerk there can tell you if the file is
available and how much the cost is for copying. The bankruptcy file
usually contains at the end a list of about 10-40 pages that show the
names of the creditors, so if you don't want that information you need
to say so when you are ordering copies made--if you DO want that
information then I guess you don't need to say anything. You can look
at court fees by visiting the website www.arb.us.courts.gov, and click
on the General Information link and there is another link to show the
FEES page.

Sunlite Casual Furniture was based in Nashville, Tennessee but they
operated a manufacturing plant in Paragould, Arkansas, which I guess
is the reason they decided to file bankruptcy on Jan. 18, 2001 in
Little Rock. A Feb. 21st hearing in Jonesboro, Arkansas got them a
loan from a bank which they must repay in June, so it looks as if they
are in good operating shape for now and can get back on there feet
financially. (There is no JONES County in Arkansas and maybe you were
thinking about Jonesboro).

Good luck in your quest for information!!!

SINCERELY

Well, and even more comprehensive search turned up the following.
There are TWO bankruptcy cases for Sunlite, not just one:

3:01-bk-30079 Sunlite Casual Furniture, Inc. and Unsecured Creditors'
Committee filed 01/18/01

3:02-ap-01021 Sunlite Casual Furniture, Inc. v. Target Corporation et
al filed 01/22/02

4keith-ga's leads should be able to direct you to the sources for
original documentation.
