Question ID: 456125
Looking for an alternator and controller to install in a renewable
energy electrical power generator.
generating should begin at low rpm (500 rotations per minute or lower
would be excellent) and be producing rated power at between 2000 and
5000 rpm.

Output can be unregulated DC of 12, 24, 48, 96v or regulated Alternating Current.
Looking for units rated to deliver 3000 watts, 15000 watts, 25000
watts and 50000 watts. (will accept partial completion).

Additional Direction:
Our hope is to find a widely manufactured unit that will be reliable
and cheep. Most automotive alternators produce less then 2000 watts
(150 amps at 12-14 volts) however there may be some available from
commercial vehicles that would be in the lower range we are looking
for.

Also, General Electric produces many alternators/generators which
would likely be acceptable. If you could provide part numbers and
contact information that would be excellent.

Generators that have lower rated rpms or a higher upper rpm range are acceptable.
