Is there a vintage / collector´s market in the U.S., for antique autos made (and originally sold) in South America? e.g. Would a mind condition 1961 VW Beetle made/sold in Brazil be worth anything to an American collector? Thanks. |

Thanks for your comment. It is in all-original, "restored" condition. My concern and the reason for my question, is that I assume that this car is illegal to drive on the streets in the U.S. And so I'm wondering if a car that's not street- legal is desirable to collectors in general. If someone wants to put it in a museum that would not be a concern, but I don't think the car museum market is very big. |
