Gravity is a property of every object with mass. It is a force,
however I don't believe that being a force constitutes "physical
existence" in my understanding of the words.
It's not something you can single out and put in a container like you
can with solids, liquids, and gasses. It is simply something that
naturally exists inside every object of mass.

Its actually not physical its purely psychological.
If you only believed in yourself enough you could over come it.
I believe in you.

Actually, modern physics considers gravity the result of the
distortion of space-time by mass-energy. It's not a property of
objects.

a physical existence requires an interaction between living objects
the earth is a living object (in the same sence as a tree bieng alive)
only it creates gravity, the very phenomenon in question. our
perception of gravity is only on a local level. So acute in fact if
the earth had senses, could it feel us?
so what my point i guess is, if there is some object that can
appreciate or bennifit from an invisible force there is no denying its
physical existance.

I tend to agree with ?jack_of_few_trades? (etc) insofar as you can?t
take a lump of gravity. And you can?t take a lump of light either. But
the effects of both have a physical presence on our perceptions and
pretty much everything so I guess it?s down to semantics and the
limitation of language.

Mmmm, an interesting way of thinking though. I shall mull on it. Thanks.
