I'm well familiar with .avi and divx and have no problem playing them, but this "zr" thing has me, as well as all my players and plug-ins, stumped. What is this "zr" thing anyway? The files I'm trying to play use this nameing convention: genericname.divx-[zr].avi The "genericname" part is the title if the clip that varries from file to file. The ".divx-[zr].avi" is common to all of the clips. My Question: What player with what codec(s) do I need for successful Win2K PC Playback? $10 Tip question: What do I need to use/do to burn these files to DVD. Be specific. | |

Actually I do prefer gspot. But what I think it might be is just a misslabled divx file. Try changing the file extnetion to just avi or mpg. And see if this works. If you are worried about any problems you could always right click on the file and copy and paste it somewhere else that way you will have the untouched original. http://www.headbands.com/gspot/download.html |

Although the filename says otherwise, have you tried the XviD Codec? [Download Page: http://www.xvid.org/] |
