My Dell Inspiron 8000 laptop does not charge the battery and it is too expensive to fix. Can I cheaply connect my AC adapter directly to the battery to charge it? | |

Martin, You need to determine if the battery is "bad." If the battery is bad, charging simply won't work. Take it to a laptop shop, they'll plug in a battery they KNOW works, then you'll know if you need a new battery or if it's the charging board inside the computer. This information is at the link I provided... We can find you a cheap(er) battery that will work with a Dell. ~~Cynthia |
