You will need software for the purpose. I use Polderbits, which is available at http://www.polderbits.com/. Cost is about &30.00 US. Instructions are also available from that site. You will need to be able to connect your audio cassette player (through the speaker outlets) using an RCA cable to your sound card input. Works easily and simply. |

Easiest budget way is to trnasfer audio cassettes voice to CDs ============================== -- PRE REQUISITES ============================== -- a 2 Headed Mono Phone Plug Shielded Cable -- a cassettes Player -- a Computer with a SoundCard with Internet Connection and CD Burners ============================== 1. Hook up your cassettes Player with the auxiliary channel on your Sound Card 2. Download sound recoder program from the internet. One is recommended on the bottom of the comment or else you can go search at www.download.com 3. Turn on the program, play the cassettes while recording using the program. 4. Gathering all the files then burn the CD! Inexpensive enough? Only cable, CDs, computer rental and some electricity fee. ( I hope you have the cassettes Player ) http://www.download.com/Rosoft-Audio-Recorder-Sponsored-Edition/3000-2168_4-10342028.html?tag=lst-0-1 |

WARNING! The software 'fr34k-ga' suggested is a "spyware/adware" program. It frequently downloads advertisements (taking away from your i-net bandwidth) and displays them while you are using the program. If you have a Cable/DSL modem, or don't mind your dialup crawling to a halt occaisionally, then perhaps its not so bad. A truely free (in cost and access to the source code) choice is: Audacity for Windows 98 (not 95), ME, 2000, XP, Linux, & Mac Homepage: http://audacity.sourceforge.net/ Win DL: http://audacity.sourceforge.net/latest/audacity-win.php/audacity-win.exe There are also freeware audio editors at NoNags. By definition of their software, there would be no "spyware/adware", but do a quick Google for "<program name> spyware" before you download any of the stuff they have there; Just to double-check that the software hasn't changed to "spyware/adware" since it was first released. NoNags Aduio page: http://www.nonags.com/nonags/auedit.html As for recording it to a CD, if you are using windows XP, the Media Play can record audio CDs (see "Help and Support" in the Start Menu). If you don't have XP there appears to be a few CD writing progs at NoNags. I can't vouch for them, as I use Nero (Non-free, came with my burner) and the WinXP builtin recording. NoNags CD-R/RW: http://www.nonags.com/nonags/cdr.html I hope this helps If you need any other help, be sure to ask. |

yes..it is a way! But you need an Deck ...or any audio equipement who had an separate audio output. You must plug in the cassete, and connect that audio eq with the computer right so..te audio eq with jack plugged on out-put and computer with the other jack(you need stere jack's and ..stereo cable)in the line in ..and so..you can record the cassete's.You can use Jet Audio (the program for recording).. |
