Howdy!
There are many pros in the San Francisco Bay area. Below is a list to
get you started. You can also often find the names of local
instructors by contacting whichever courses you choose to play.

There are also many courses and practice ranges available. The SF
Golfer network has a large clickable map of bay area courses, complete
with green fees and descriptions.

The closest course I could find to your location that specifically
featured full practice facilities is the Harding Park Golf Club
(http://www.usagolfgreens.com/california/hardingpkgca.htm).
To become a certified PGA instructor, you will need to meet the PGA
Teaching Professional qualifications. To do so, you must be eligibly
employed and pass a playing ability test. You must also complete the
Golf Professional Training Program (GPTP) while working under a Class
A PGA Golf Professional. The GPTP is a three-level training program
that includes seminars, work experience, and self-study courses.
Completion of the GPTP can be expensive, but there are scholarships
available from Titleist and FootJoy. The training process typically
takes 3-5 years to complete. The PGA Professional Readiness
Orientation Program (http://www.pgalinks.com/pro/index1.cfm) can give
you more information on program specifics, fees, and other related
materials.
Good luck with your endeavor!
