I need a set of automotive trivia questions for an upcoming
international conference for manufacturers of automotive components.
Each question should be multiple choice and include the correct
response, three plausible incorrect responses and the source or the
question/answer. The questions could include items about technology
(e.g. Who invented the automatic transmission, When was the first
electric starter installed, What was the first car equipped with the
pneumatic tires) and the automotive business (e.g. What was the name
of the first production car built by Gottlieb Daimler and Carl Benz,
Answer - Velo, What was the first American car company - Answer -
Duryea Motor Wagon Company, How many Ford Model T's were built -
Answer - 15,000,000).
You could include some race-related questions, but remember it's an
international audience, so there should be questions about non-US
racing, not just NASCAR and the Indy 500.
Most questions should give respondents a reasonable chance at a
correct answer, but I would also like a few head-slappers that no one
is likely to know, but everyone might find interesting (e.g.
Approximatly 100 Gordon Keeble cars will built in the UK in the
mid-1960's. What animal was featured on the hood (bonnet) badge?
Answer - a tortoise).
I need approximately 50 questions, preferably delivered as a Word
document, in the following format:
Question: <question>
A. <answer A>
B. <answer B>*
C. <answer C>
D. <answer D>
<source link>
With the asterisk indicating the correct answer. |

There is no feature that allows a researcher to put such a Word
document together and get it to you in this forum. All answers must be
posted here. Would it be ok to have a list of questions prepared and
posted here for you here so you can copy and paste it to a Word
document of your own? This would be the only option if you still want
someone to proceed with the research.

Since there's no way to deliver the document in Word format, a
response (or multiple responses if there is a size limit) via Google
that I can cut and paste would be fine.

Hello Wordkraft,
I've just been wondering, are you sticking to only four-wheeled
vehicles, or are you willing to accept two-wheeled vehicles
information in this quiz?

A researcher could conceivably offer a link to a Word document if he
has access to online space.

very hard, difficult) and answers are provided on a separate page.
Here are a few examples of the type of questions that you will find at

These questions are perfect! If the source link includes 50 comparable
questions, this would be a good answer ... and a swell deal for you!
Thanks.
