By "a program designed to run on WORD," do you mean a macro, or a
formatted document, or something else?

Hi pinkfreud-ga, Thanks for your interest in my question. I don't know
what a macro is or a formatted doc either. But the program allows
blank spaces on forms to be filled in and printed out. I hope this
helps. Thx.

The answer is "no". Word opens Word, and Wordpad MIGHT open some older
Word docs, but Notepad will not.
If the Word doc has the ability to fill in fields, and you don't have
Word, you can use the Word 2003 Viewer from Microsoft...

Or you can get a full featured Office Suite such as OpenOffice.Org
