I am using a prescription drug called suboxone and it is rather
expensive. I have no insurance. I am hoping someone can help me find
a way to find it for around $3.00 a pill or less or free. That is in
U.S. dollars. I am paying about $4.00 a pill for a 8mg pill, right
now. I aa 42 single and do not have a disablity and do not qualify
for any local or other finacial aid that I am aware of. Triple A
provides a little bit of a discount. It is not sold in Canada and I
can't seem to find it overseas. I don't have insurance. The company
that makes it does not provide any support for low income people. I
have tried a few of the discount prescription drug plans that are all
over the internet but they still can't' beat the $4.00 a pill price I
am paying at this time. Can someone help me find a way to get a
discount price on this drug. I am fully aware that you can type
"Discount prescription drugs" into Google and find a hundred web sites
promising %50-%80 savings on all drugs. But even with them they still
can't beat the $4.00 a 8mg pill price I have right now. I am not
eligible for Med-cal, or medicare. Is there anyway to get this
cheaper? Thanks

Suboxone is usually prescribed as a treatment for opiate dependence. I
do not mean to pry, but are you enrolled in a drug rehab program? If
not, have you considered such enrollment? A portion of the cost of
prescription drugs is sometimes absorbed by publicly-funded drug
treatment facilities.

Yes, you are mainly correct concerning suboxone. But this case is
somewhat unique. I would rather not go into it, as it would take a
while and it is rather personal. The drug treatment route unfortunaly
won't work for me.

Thank you for the feedback.
