Q: I hear the words graphics, pictures, and images used almost
interchangeably. Is there any difference?
A: There is little if any difference between the words ?picture? and
?image.? Different software companies use one or the other.

Kind of interesting,
I would go with "image galleries" based
on the following stats:
Google, Yahoo, Altavista, and Webcrawler use: "image"
Alltheweb and Ask use: "pictures"

Although if you decide to go with "pictures", I would use "pics" instead.

In the world of adult sites, TGP's, Adult Blogs and all - I think you
could concider the difference like this:

Images are more like the files - the more thechnical term.
Pictures are what the surfers are looking at.

So you end up with "pictures of sexy naked girls" or "beautiful naked
women - Free Pics" -
