Did Charlie Rose, on one (or more) of his shows over the last two
years, incorrectly use "irregardless" in place of the word "regardless" in
conversations with guests?  If so, was the mistake pointed out to him,
and did he respond?

While the above is not the Oxford unabridged dictionary, it seems to be a
a colloquialism originating in US spoken language.

Compare with flammable and its cousin inflammable.
