Randy, I'm glad to have been able to help you find some options for having your new website translated. I've reposted the links below: GlobalDialogs http://www.globaldialogs.ch/englisch/web_e.htm Pro-Tran http://pro-tran.com/index.html#Webseiten-Uebersetzung You can find many similar services by using this search link: Google Web Search: "website translation OR translators" ://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=%22website+translation+OR+translators%22 Good luck with your new website! Let us know if you need any more help. Once things are running and ready for the public, it would be great if you'd post a link here so that your Google Answers friends can stop by for an online visit. Some of us feel as if we know you, even if we live many miles away. Best wishes, pinkfreud | |

Greetings Randy, Nice to see you again! One of the problems of a software program for translation is that it seldoms reads correctly in the translated language. EX: At Babelfish (http://world.altavista.com/), I ran the GA disclaimer (bottom of this page) through their translator English>Spanish and then put the translation back through Spanish>English: ORIGINAL DISCLAIMER: Answers and comments provided on Google Answers are general information, and are not intended to substitute for informed professional medical, psychiatric, psychological, tax, legal, investment, accounting, or other professional advice. Google does not endorse, and expressly disclaims liability for any product, manufacturer, distributor, service or service provider mentioned or any opinion expressed in answers or comments. Please read carefully the Google Answers Terms of Service. SPANISH TRANSLATION BACK TO ENGLISH: The answers and the commentaries provided in the answers of Google are information of general character, and they do not think to replace for professional, psychiatric doctor informed, psicologico, the tax, legal, the investment, the accounting, or the other professional advice. Google does not endorse, and express denies the responsibility by any product, manufacturer, distributor, service or supplier on watch mentioned or any opinion expressed in answers or commentaries. Please read carefully the Google it answers terms of the service. You can see the differences between the original disclaimer and the re-translated disclaimer. Sometimes results of this nature can be even more humorous. Your best bet is to decide what languages you want the website translated into, and then contact each separately. Only that way will your translations be exact. Best regards, journalist-ga |

Anne-Marie, "Englisch" is the proper German spelling of the word. Since their business seems to be located in Switzlerland, it is perfectly normal for German words to appear in the URL. Notice how the French version has "franz" in the URL. It is short for "Französisch", which means "French" in German. Regards, Vladimir |

Hi Vladimir, ..........since this is a "translation service" I'd say it is important to be consistent in the use of the language in the URL.....or especially in the URL...! .... just my opinion........ Regards, Anne-Marie |
