I will have the chance to visit India for about 4-6 weeks in July and August of this year. I would like to spend most of my time learning yoga from the source, with some time set aside to do some sightseeing. Could you give me advice about where I could go in India to learn yoga? At the moment, I do not know much at all about yoga, and so do not have a preference for a particular style. | |

I've known several people who have had very good experiences here: http://kym.org/ although they are in Chennai (Madras) and I don't know what shape they're in after the tsunami. good luck & namaste! ts |

Sri Ramchandra Mission , teaches Raja Yoga. Since this has centres all over the world , you can continue your practise after returning from the trip. Main Website : www.srcm.org For centres in India : http://www.srcm.org/srcminfo/servlet/CenterTree?ShowChildren=1&NodeId=9 |
