How large is the market for packaged food sold through fundraising
organizations in the U.S.? I know that the Girl Scouts and Market Day
are leading organizations in this channel, who are the other large
fundraising organizations that use food to generate funding? (Little
League Baseball? Cub Scouts? Junior Soccer? Boys Clubs of America?)and
how much do they each sell annually? Who are the top manufacturers
(Worlds Finest Chocolate? Hersheys?)and what products make up the
largest volume in this fundraising channel? (Cookies, Candy, Pizza,
Popcorn?) Where can I go to find out more about the size of the
market, the key players, product breakdown, market share, and how food
manufacturers successfully market products to the fundraising
channnel?
