I am looking for a list of literary agents (agents for writers) who
have graduated from law school and have at some time practiced law.
Also, I would like a separate listing of those who have gone to law
school but who have not practiced.

If you can't break down the two categories, a listing of all literary
agents who have graduated from law school would be sufficient.

I am particularly interested in getting a list of agents who are in
New York City who have gone to law school.

Hi Arthur,

After an extensive search I found one literary agent working with a
law firm in New York. Although she is not a lawyer, she has 10 years
of experience. Another website has that same law firm listed as a
literary agent.

In addition I found 10 literary agents who have law degrees, but are
not from New York, but are from San Diego, Washington DC, Portland
Oregon, (2)Chicago, Ohio, Dallas, Houston, Berkley and Minneapolis.

If you deem this information acceptable as an answer, please post a
clarification and I will write it up and post it.

Thank you

Thanks for the clarification question. I already have a list of six
New York agents who are also attorneys and I have a description of
some other non-New York agent-attorneys. Right now I am only
interested in New York attorney-agents, but I may come back in the
future for those in other areas. So, to answer your clarification
question, your info may be valuable for the future, but it is not what
I am looking for now. Thanks for asking, though.

Thanks for your answer. I will continue the search and maybe IŽll come
up with more New York attorney-agents.
