Hi,

My grandmother used to sing me a song which I cannot find any reference to.

Please can you see if you can track it down.

Thanks,

Michael

It went like this:

"I jumped aboard a japanese boat and landed on the open sea
A chinese maid came up to me and asked if I were Choir (?)
She said if I wouldn't tell her a tale she'd put me on the fire
Whilst I was cooking, she was singing all day long
She cut my head with a knife and fork and hung it on the cabbage stalk
She ate so much she couldn't talk she had to join the Navy
The captain's name was Bingo
He had a big brass eye
He sat and curled his whiskers
Whilst sails passed by"
