Question ID: 459209
We are interested in joining prosavvy.com. We are not convinced that
they are the best project-consulting resource for our branding and
design business. We would like testimonials (NOT from prosavvy) of
design firms who were satisfied with prosavvy's ability to provide
them with branding and design projects/jobs.

The second part of this question:
We've come across rumors that prosavvy's matching system is not
unbiased, but certain vendors are favored over others. The comments
we've seen so far have been conflicting - some users of the service
are delighted, but the users who have joined more recently are
disappointed. We would like to know if there is indeed favoritism in
prosavvy's method of matching clients to vendors.

Thank you.

Please let me know if you feel the price set is too low and what you
feel is a worthwhile price for you.

I want to preface that I have a very negative personal oppinion of
pro-savvy based on personal experiences a few years ago. I am sure
that they have success stories, but I think you should look very
closely before signing up.

Based on an initial search, I would HIGHLY recommend that you consider
carefully- some initial research finds that:

From the BBB (www.bbb.org) they had 74 complaints in the past 36 months.

Some personal postings on google groups that discuss the topic:
From:

"
"I would stay clear of prosavvy. I paid the $3,500.00 and after a year
and 60 "projects" applied for none have materialized. "

"My company got involved with ProSavvy a few years ago and we never got ANY
work from this service"

http://groups-beta.google.com/group/misc.business.consulting/browse_thread/thread/1a8e39a314d60552/
"Through threat of legal action prosavvy
has forced some sites posting complaints to cease even though the
complaints were truthful."

Thank you vballguy-ga for the information. This is very important to
us and we are carefully exploring marketing options. Prosavvy seemed
perfect for our type of company, we are a small, yet professional
firm, yet getting exposure takes a full-time marketing staff, which we
do not have. I appreciate your providing this information which I did
not find myself searching on google. Based on this information, I
think we will avoid their service. I feel this has answered my
question. Wishing you much success!
