In 2003, Wired Magazine's annual list of the "hot" tech companies
("the wired 40") had Google in the number 1 slot. I'm curious as to
whether there were any other published lists that ranked it similarly
well, published in 2003 or earlier. I don't care exactly what the list
was about. Could be "Fortune Magazine's fast growing companies", "good
tech companies to work at", "hot upcoming IPOs", etc. It just has to
be a ranked list, with at least 10 items on the list, and Google near
the top. (It should be about Google as a company, a businesss model,
an employer, or a stock, not about google.com being the best search
engine or the best way of finding information on the web.)
