you are doing the wrong thing. Never ask for the distance in mountainous areas, more so if they happen to crisscross countries - ask for time. Cal to Thimpu would be 12 hours to Siliguri(by train - was told not to venture by road) then about the same from siliguri to Thimpu. a full day's journey. |
