According to my Latin dictionary, Engineering is Machinalis Scientia. Science would be a bit more difficult to translate, as the word itself comes from the Latin Scientia (knowledge) - and obviously that wouldn't look too nice right next to that translation of Engineering. You might want to clarify a bit; is it for a Science and Engineering building? An Engineering research firm? Would a more specific science work better for your purposes? |

Thanks for your help, we really appreciate it. "Science and Engineering" is the name of my High School, which is really "The Science and Engineering Magnet High School". Science and Engineering is the name we all refer to it by. |

To offer any more help, the school is also called "School of Science and Engineering". Would there be a better word for Science if it applied to science as that which is taught in the form of more specific subjects (Biology, Physics, etc.)? Again, thanks for your help |
