In Coach Carter (movie) the "Coach" posed a question to the team,
"What do you fear the most or What do we fear the most?" In the end,
one player gave a full length answer in prose which suggested that it
was a quote from a book orm poem. I would like to read the full text.
Thank you.

If this is the quote, I'll be glad to tell you the author's name, and
the book from which the quote came:

"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is
that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our
darkness, that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, who am I to be
brilliant, gorgeous, talented and fabulous? Actually, who are you not
to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small doesn't serve the
world. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within
us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our
own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do
the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence
automatically liberates others."

If the quote which I mentioned above is not the one you're looking
for, it would be helpful if you could recall a few words of the quote
you want.

I haven't seen "Coach Carter" yet, but when you mentioned a speech
about fear, I immediately remembered this quote. However, I initially
thought that Nelson Mandela was the source. The quote was read by
Mandela at his inauguration in 1994, but he was not the original
author. The quote was written by Marianne Williamson. It comes from
her book, A Return to Love: Reflections on the Principles of "A Course
in Miracles."

"Within minutes of taking over the varsity-coaching gig at run-down,
flunky-ridden Richmond High, sporting-goods entrepreneur Ken Carter
(Samuel L. Jackson) uses nonlethal force to subdue a violently defiant
player (Rick Gonzales from 'Old School'). Later, reformed and devoted
to Carter, that very same player looks deep into his coach?s eyes and
softly, movingly recites the Marianne Williamson poem 'Our Greatest
Fear,' just like Nelson Mandela during his 1994 inauguration speech."
