Skitz34,

Can you provide any other details?

Are there any alternate spellings of the name "Mohamed Esanna"?

As you understand it, who is this individual and why is his arrest significant?

Thank you,

Huntsman

I. If you mean Mohammed Zammar, the US authorities have some access to
him, but he is under Moroccan arrest.

"The Moroccans previously arrested Mohammed Haydar Zammar, who
allegedly recruited chief Sept. 11 hijacker Mohammed Atta into
al-Qaida in Germany. Zammar, a German of Syrian descent, was sent to
Syria, where he remains in custody, according to a German intelligence
official, speaking on condition of anonymity."

II. If you meant the Moroccan Moussaoui,Zacarias Moussaoui "washed out
of flight school in Norman, Okla., and moved on to the Pan Am
International Flying Academy in Eagan, Minn., where he paid $8,000 to
use flight simulators designed to train commercial pilots. His
instructors became suspicious, and the school called the FBI, which
detained Moussaoui on Aug. 17 on immigration charges. Held as a
material witness after Sept. 11, he has been in jail ever since."

My research on Morocco and arrests for the 9/11 barbarity does not
show the arrest of any terrorists than Mohommed Zammar.

The correct spelling of name is "Mohamed Esanna". I met him in
Tangiers, while on vacation. (03/24/01). We spoke for a while and
exchanged E-Mail address's.
Since then we have been corresponding, until 06/02, when I learned
some things he was doing, like helping Moroccans escape to Spain, and
purchasing a passport
and changing the picture, I felt I should notify the FBI., which I did
in June 02. I heard from him 2x, in that week and then nothing. Two
weeks later, I learned thru the News media that Cueta, the place he
frequented and surrounding area was having trouble, regarding,
smuggling of immigrants and drugs. In his last correspondence to me,
he told me that he was going to Barcelona, Spain to live. I am
concerned about him and what is happening, due to the fact that we
became friends, and by now he would have written to me. The
FBI,natrually will not tell me anything, and I am curious about has
happened, if anything.
I guess you might call it "Womans curiouosity".

Another spelling of his name could be "Mohamed Esanaa"

Thank you for your attention to this.

Dear Skitz34-ga:
I hope you find your friend is ok soon.

I searched for his address/phone on www.infobel.com in the cities of
Barcelona and Madrid. Nothing registers with either name you
mentioned. Perhaps he keeps it unlisted, or has not yet had the time
to set up a phone account.
http://www.infobel.com/spain/wp/search/result.asp?qSearchType=SWP&qCountryCode=es&qnacecode=&qlastName=Esanaa&qcity=Barcelona&qcitylist=MADRID+DE+LAS+CADERECHAS&Search.x=52&Search.y=13

I also did a search on Amnesty International's website and received no
hits for Mr. Esanna/Esanaa.
http://web.amnesty.org/catalog.nsf/$$Search?OpenForm

In addition to the FBI, you might wish to visit the Amnesty
International website to ask them for assistance. I read that they
had a 2 week visit in Morocco during June on "disappearance" issues
unrelated to your query.

Occasionally, you might use www.infobel.com to the Spain site and
check for an address/phone.

Dear Skitz,

My searches in Arabic-Google, came up only with an Algerian football
player with a similar name, that was not arrested by the FBI
://www.google.com/intl/ar/
Search terms:
محمد صانا
محمد سانا + FBI (Sana is the name of the Syrian regime's news agency,
and if I used only محمد سانا I'd get thousands of answers).

A small note to Brad - your quote doesn't indicate that Zammar is in
Morocco. Au Contraire, like the Moroccan would say - he was sent by
the Moroccan government to Syria and is now there.

BTW - I hope Google would do a Google logo in Arabic instead of what
they have there right now. It could be so nice :-)

I know I commented before, but I must add one more thing - Mohammed is
one of the most popular names in the world. I have no idea why Brad
chose these two Mohammeds. Nothing in the question implied that this
is 9/11 related arrest; nothing indicated that the client refers to
these two "notorious" Mohammeds.

I apologise for the harsh words, but it seems a bit haste to me to
offer these names as an answer before the client clarifies.

I didn't think he was part of a terrorist group. But ,due to the fact
that he was helping people escape from morocco, and bought somebodys
passport, I felt that maybe the FBI should know, as we all know this
is illegal. However, my concern is,was he arrested due to these
activities, is he ok?, do you have an address on him now and in
general.............whats the story.??? I miss hearing from him.

Thank you, for all that you told me so far, I just want to know if he
is OK.
It's not like him, to not E-Mail, me.
